RISK MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR | Top-Tier Bank

We are looking for a Risk Management Supervisor to join a top-tier bank in Luxembourg.

You will assist the CRO on various Enterprise Risk Management topics and have an impact on internal governance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct annual risk identification and materiality assessment process.
  • Carry out various risk management policies and procedures reviews to follow laws, regulations, and business and risk strategy.
  • Investigate the nature and severity of the operational risk events and incorporate the results into the recurrent risk and control assessment.
  • Contribute to designing the Bank’s business continuity plan strategy.
  • Produce a quarterly risk management report for the senior management.
  • Assist CRO in yearly ICLAAP, Group Recovery plan, stress testing program, and risk appetite statement review.
  • Perform analysis on risk dashboard evolution.
  • Support the CRO in following up on the remediation actions after risk events occur, or addressing internal audit findings/regulatory recommendations, etc.

Requirements

  • Between 5 and 10 years’ expertise in the risk department of a local bank.
  • Good knowledge of EU and local banking regulations (e.g, CRR/CRD, CSSF circulars, and EBA guidelines)
  • You have a proactive, team-oriented, problem-solving attitude, with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional proficiency in English is a must, and a second language is an additional value-added.
